Explain to me Why.

Just a quick observation.

Can someone explain to me why running an unadulterated version of Ubuntu (10.10) from an SD card with a persistence setup, is faster than running a notebook variant on an SSD?

This I don't understand.

That is all.

  2. Everything works right off the bat in the full-blown version though, so I don't think there are fewer.
